The very first relationship was between Ashlee Wiblin and Mortgage Express Blenheim Adviser Peter Lewis. Ashlee initially met Peter on her own home-ownership journey in 2018, and walked away from their first meeting with the beginnings of the next step in her career, alongside a friendship like no other, and with no home loan.
Ashlee worked alongside Peter, soaking up everything she could from him to help set her own mortgage advisory career into motion as the Blenheim dream-team. Together, they continued to expand their businesses, helping hundreds of people on their real estate journey, achieve their goals.
In 2021, Ashlee’s mentor and good friend Peter underwent major heart surgery, making the decision to step back and giving her the opportunity to take over his business. Knowing she had huge shoes to fill, Ashlee took the opportunity to merge the two businesses to make one mortgage advisory experience.
Along with the purchase of Peter’s business came big changes including two rebrands; first to Ashlee and Peter and now The Home Loan Collective.
In November 2024, Peter made the decision to return to home loans after spending the past few years working as an Investment Adviser. With their history of working well together and a shared approach to looking after clients, it was a natural move for Peter to step back into the business alongside Ashlee. Their combined experience and complementary strengths continue to shape The Home Loan Collective, creating a supportive, knowledgeable team focused on helping clients achieve their goals.
